About Juli
Counselling Psychologist
Juli is a trauma-, neurodiversity-, and attachment-informed counselling psychologist who takes an open, supportive, and collaborative approach in her therapeutic work. She considers psychotherapy to be a space to get to know yourself with the support of a caring and knowledgeable professional, allowing you to gain clarity about how your present difficulties might relate to past experiences. Sessions thus often focus on exploring relational patterns and beliefs about yourself, others, and the world that may be causing you distress or hindering you in living your life. From the first session, Juli works with you to identify areas of stuckness and develop practical ways of addressing your difficulties.
Juli is trained in relational psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioural (CBT), and existential therapeutic approaches, and draws on all three to tailor her approach to each client's needs. She is experienced in working with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and complex trauma, with a particular focus on borderline personality disorder. She is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Society for Existential Analysis. She completed her doctorate at Regent's University London.
