About Chris

Clinical Director and Clinical Psychologist

Chris is a HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of the London City Therapy Clinic.

Chris completed his doctorate at University College London, where he specialised in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. He takes an open-minded and non-judgemental approach to the initial consultation and aims to discuss which model might best suit each individual client.

Chris has experience working across various NHS and private practice settings (recovery and rehabilitation teams, older adults, child and adolescent, inpatient, forensic, and psychodynamic psychotherapy services), and works with individuals or couples aged 18+.

Chris regularly supervises assistant, trainee, and qualified psychologists, and facilitates multiple weekly reflective practice sessions for other mental health professionals.

Chris has a particular interest in relational difficulties (friends, family, partners, colleagues, etc), anxiety, and a general sense of losing direction or feeling overwhelmed. He believes therapy should be supportive and open, but also challenging at times. He works from the belief that therapy should aim to encourage movement and help people become unstuck.
